Case 1: Internet no longer works at all in the apartment
Check the internet router
- Make sure the router is plugged into a working power socket.
- Check that the circuit breaker or switch for the router on the electrical panel is on.
Restart the router
- Unplug the router for 10 to 20 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Wait a few minutes for the connection to be fully restored.
Check the lights
- Look at the router’s indicator lights.
- If a red or unusual light appears, note it or take a photo.
Check the network
- Does the Wi-Fi network appear in the list of available networks?
- Are you using the correct network name (SSID) and password?
- Are you connected to the main router or a Wi-Fi repeater?
Speed test
- If the connection is very slow or unstable, run a speed test via Speedtest.
- Keep a screenshot of the result.
---
Case 2: Weak connection in a specific area of the apartment
If internet works fine near the router but not in some rooms:
- Run a speed test in the room concerned.
- Run a second test right next to the router.
- Compare the results.
This will help us identify a possible signal range issue.
---
Case 3: Slow connection in the whole apartment or saturated network
If the connection is insufficient for several users (frequent slowdowns, dropouts):
- Run a speed test.
- Note when the problem occurs (constant, at certain times, when several people are connected).
---
Information to send us if the problem persists
