I have bed bugs

Bed bugs spread very quickly. It is therefore essential to act without delay to limit their spread and allow effective treatment.

1. Identify the problem

If you suspect bed bugs (bites, itching, marks on bedding), we first ask you to:

  • See a doctor or pharmacist to confirm that it is bed bugs.
  • Once confirmed, please inform us quickly.

2. Inform our teams

After confirmation, please contact us via the "Report an incident" form and send us the following:

Do you have red bumps or patches?

  • If yes, please send us a photo.

Have you seen the pests?

  • If yes, please send us a photo.

These details are essential, as bed bugs can spread quickly from one room to another and from one apartment to another. They will allow us to define the exact area to be treated.

3. Organising the intervention

Once we have received the information, our technical team can arrange a visit with a specialist company.

For the treatment to be effective, the accommodation must be carefully prepared.

Before the intervention – Please follow these instructions:

  • Wash all bedding (sheets, pillowcases, covers, duvet) at 60°C minimum.
  • Also wash clothes and textiles stored in the room concerned.
  • Store clean laundry in sealed plastic bags, ideally in a room that is not infested.
  • Remove and wash curtains and nets, then place them in sealed bags.
  • Empty furniture near the bed (chests of drawers, bedside tables, wardrobes).
  • Vacuum thoroughly: mattress, base, seams, skirting boards, cracks, screw holes, hinges.
  • Throw the vacuum bag away immediately in an outside bin.
  • Are your neighbours experiencing the same problem?

4. After the intervention

After the treatment, you must:

  • Leave the accommodation and keep it closed for at least 4 hours.
  • Ventilate the accommodation for at least 2 hours when you return.
  • Do not wash the floors for two weeks after the intervention.

To ensure complete eradication, the whole apartment will need to be treated, even if only one room appears to be affected.

If the problem persists

Please fill in our incident report form and attach a photo or short video: Report an incident Our technical team will respond quickly if needed.
